Your tool data stays in your browser

The free calculators and document generators on ApnaSalary.in run entirely client-side, in your browser. The information you enter into these tools - names, salary amounts, PAN numbers, addresses, invoice details - is not transmitted to our servers. Single documents (salary slips, rent receipts, invoices) are created on your device and downloaded directly from it.

Employer accounts and payments

The free tools need no account. If you create an employer account, we store your email, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), and the data you save: company details and logo, employee details and salary structures, and the payroll runs you generate. This lets you reach them from any device. We use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. You can delete employees and runs at any time, and email support@apnasalary.in to delete the whole account.

Our payment processor, Razorpay, handles your card or UPI details. We never see or store them. We keep the Razorpay payment and order IDs and the amount paid to credit your plan and handle support. We do not sell this data or use it for marketing.

Analytics

When enabled, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate site usage - which pages are visited and which tools are popular. This collects only standard, anonymised technical information (such as page path, referrer and device type) and never includes anything you type into the tools. We do not use cross-site tracking analytics.

Third-party advertising

ApnaSalary may display advertising served by third parties such as Google AdSense. When ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. For more information on how Google uses data in advertising, see Google's advertising policies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
