About ApnaSalary

Who builds these tools, and why they are free.

ApnaSalary is a collection of free salary, tax and payroll tools for Indian employees and small businesses. You can generate salary slips, rent receipts and GST invoices, calculate income tax under the new and old regimes, work out your in-hand salary from CTC, and check your HRA exemption, all without creating an account or paying anything.

The calculators and the single-document tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them, names, salary figures or PAN numbers, is uploaded or stored. Close the tab and it is gone. The employer dashboard is the one exception: it keeps your company, employees and payslip history on our servers so you can reach them from any device.

ApnaSalary is built and maintained by an independent developer, not a large company. The tools are kept up to date with current Indian tax rules, and feedback directly shapes what gets built next.
